Hi, I’m Rhi!
My journey to dog training has been a wild ride. Although I grew up with dogs, I never considered a career involving them until I was working with my own dog on her reactivity, and I discovered Raintown. Kris worked with me on Clara’s fear and aggression, which was crucial for her development. Using science-based, efficient and force-free methods opened up the fascinating world of dog behaviour to me, and fed the love for dogs that I had always had. I launched myself full-force into dog training, and I haven't looked back since. I proudly hold a certification from one of the world’s most renowned dog training schools, the Karen Pryor Academy.
Working with Raintown has shown me how training can change a dog's life. On the surface, dog training may seem as simple as teaching various behaviours and good manners. However, when you dive into it, it becomes so much more than that. As a dog trainer, my mission is to help dogs feel safe, happy, and secure in their daily lives. There is nothing as rewarding for me as watching a shy puppy come out of her shell and begin to play, or watching an older dog learn to train for the first time. I feel so lucky to have this job.
